What You'll Do

As a Cook at Popoca, you'll be an essential part of our culinary team, bringing our vision to life through your skills and dedication. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and cooking dishes inspired by Salvadoran cuisine, with a focus on quality and consistency.
  • Collaborating with the team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.
  • Handling ingredients and equipment safely, including lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Contributing to the preservation of our heritage-driven menu while embracing creativity and innovation.

What We're Looking For

We’re seeking someone who shares our passion for food and culture. To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • At least 3 years of professional cooking experience, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • A strong understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs safely.
  • Spanish-speaking skills (preferred but not required) to enhance communication in our diverse kitchen.
